Ergonomic Programs
Ergonomics--the science of matching the physical characteristics of the worker with the work processes, equipment, and environment--can minimize the risk for developing cumulative trauma disorders, while increasing worker comfort and productivity.

Injury Prevention Training
Experience suggests that one of the best ways to communicate safe work behaviors is through "hands-on" training, followed by continual reinforcement.  Based on information obtained through environmental safety audits, job hazard analyses, and reviews of OSHA 300 logs, effective injury prevention strategies can be developed.  The focus is generally on jobs that present the greatest risk for occupational injuries.

Job Analysis
One of the most useful tools in controlling workplace injuries is the development of detailed ADA compliant job descriptions.  Through job analysis the essential functions, critical physical demands, and job safety hazards can be identified.  Once completed, the analysis will serve an important part of your job orientation, injury prevention training, and early return to work programs.  The analysis is also helpful when reasonable accommodations are needed.

Pre-placement Screening
An important component in a total work injury management strategy is the screening of job applicants.  Post-job-offer pre-placement screening can minimize the risk of hiring persons unable to perform the critical physical demands.  Using exisiting job descriptions and analyses, a job specific screening protocol is developed.  Using job simulation and other assessment techniques, each applicant is then evaluated on their ability to perform the required physical demands of the work. Accent Reduction Programs

For a variety of reasons, employees are difficult to understand and do not represent themselves or the company well due to speech that is non-standard. Our team of experts can evaluate and develop a program designed to eliminate accents and speech productions that are intefering with a valuable employee's ability to be understood and speak intelligibly. This may involve articulation of sounds, volume of speech, projection, rate of speech, voice, accents, and other habits particular to that person that is keeping them from being as productive for the company as possible.
